Thanks Katie,
I am not doing so hot right now, but I am hanging in there.

I really hate for you to be so young and even have to think about a hysterectomy. It does suck that nothing is working for you. Does your blood clotting disorder prevent you from being able to try certain things for your PMDD?

I was told by this last doctor that some Women are allergic to the flow of their cycle. The actual shedding is what they are allergic too, of course with you the heavyness is getting better, but the PMDD is getting worse.

I wish I had more answers for you, of course I don't have much more than you do, if any.

I just hope to be a listening ear for you, and a good support system.

I hope you are doing well, I have had PMDD since 1993 before they even knew what it was, I knew something was wrong. My doctors appts were always like yours or much worse. No treatments have helped, im 32 and fearing a hysterectomy. I also had painful heavy periods. Last year I was diagnosed with thrombophilia a genectic blood clotting disorder (blood is to thick)they are treating me with 81mg aspirin and prescription vitamin B,it has seemed to help with the heavyness of the period, but the PMDD gets worse every month. I dont know if this will help.

Thanks Sarah,
I am definitely going to look into everything first. I don't want to trade one set of problems for another.
I had my appt today, including a sonogram done and found that I have a cyst on my right ovary that is rather large. I am going back next Thur to discuss the sono pics and all the info we have already discussed at my previous appt.

I will keep you guys updated and thanks for the info- That's what makes this site helpful.

I encourage you to look into other advice about removing your female parts that just an MD, they are very into taking stuff out and don't know much about healing naturally the stuff that is already there or just leaving it be. Maybe this is right for you I just want to add this perspective, get a second opinion... and thx for the site dedicated to PMDD.
