I have known there is PMDD info out there and that I'm not the only one who suffers, but seeing this posting about "coming out of your 2 week time" finally made me feel like someone out there understands. I have about 5 good days a month...too bad I'm bleeding for most of those 5 days!

Hi Joan,

I just sent you an email letting you know to come over here, it's more updated. :)

First, I want to say I am sorry you are going thru this, it sucks, we all know just how bad. I am 35, will be 36 in August and I swear that my PMDD is getting stronger every year too. I don't have any burning of my skin, this is actually something that has not ever been mentioned to me by anyone. My raging is still under control because of the meds, but the migraines and fatigue are just terrible and like I said, getting worse it seems.
My sugars seem to be low rather than high though so I don't know if that is something that has to do with the PMDD, yours being higher, or just them being bothered period.

Like you, I bloat badly too, I make use of my comfy lounge pants during this time rather than jeans.

Can you share with us what you are doing as far as exercise, how you eat normally, etc...? This would help us help you. I can say the just not feeling well just goes with it. To me, some months are better than others and sometimes I just downright feel sick, like someone would feel when they are actually getting sick.

Please share more info.

This is a hard one. I know that until recently I went through a 'rut' where it was hard to pull myself up and LIVE during the time I had to feel good cause I was so anxious and depressed about what was coming...there just never seems like enough time.

I've found that relaxing and trying to do a gratitude journal really helps keep me focused (granted some days during the 2 weeks i'm feeling like junk and can't find anything to write except my childrens names) and my attitude postive for when I bounce back to normal.

You are very sweet, I am glad it's helpful. I believe that when you know someone else is going thru EXACTLY what you are, it does help you see that it is okay, we aren't just losing our minds. (Of course I know we all hate for someone else to go thru it, but it is helpful:) )

Keep up the great work on your management.

I think I've said it before but I will say it again: this is such an important resource for us dealing with PMDD and I applaud you for keeping it up. I've learned to manage so much better but it is absolutely refreshing to read your thoughts/advice/insight. I find myself thinking YES! EXACTLY! Thank you.
